SageLink Credit Card Conversion FAQs


In April, all SageLink MasterCard Credit Cards  will be converted to PFCU MasterCard Credit Cards. Your new PFCU MasterCard will be ordered and mailed to you between April 9, 2019 and  April 12, 2019. In addition to receiving your new PFCU MasterCard , you will also receive detailed instructions on how to activate your card. Your current SageLink MasterCard will be valid until Monday, April 29, 2019. Please continue to visit the website as we update with more important information on this conversion process.

All cards will be mailed April 9, 2019 – April 12, 2019.  You will receive a new card 7-10 days after this time-frame. Your new card will have a new design and new card number.

Your new card can be activated starting April 28, 2019. If you have any pre-authorized or recurring debits (health club, insurance, subscriptions services, cable, utilities, etc.) on your card, you will need to update those merchants with your new card information.

Your SageLink MasterCard will continue to authorize charges until April 29, 2019. Do not use your current SageLink MasterCard after that date. Transactions will be denied.

Yes. You will have a new number, expiration date and CVV number.

With the change to a new processor, your May due date will be May 26, 2019.

Not at this time. In the coming months you will be notified of any changes that may affect your minimum payment due.

You can continue to make payments through PFCU Online Banking, our Call Center or at any PFCU location. However, if you currently mail your payments or if you’ve set up advance or automatic electronic payments to pay your credit card bill, such as Bill Pay, please reset with your new card number and/or payment address:

You will be able to access statements from your SageLink Mastercard until April 26, 2019. After this date, you will no longer be able access any statement history.

Your existing PIN will expire. A new PIN will be mailed April 15, 2019.

Your existing Alerts will not be converted. You will need to establish Alerts for your new card beginning Monday, April 29, 2019.

Log into Online Banking at pfcu4me.com.

Click “Services” tab on the left hand side of the page.

Click “Credit Card” at the bottom of listing.

Select “product & services” tab at the top and then select “account alerts”.

Follow prompts.

They will automatically transfer to your new PFCU MasterCard. This includes payments, credit and purchase transactions.

No. Your PFCU Debit Card will not be impacted.

Yes! You will earn 1 point for every dollar spent and use your points to redeem cash credit.

Transactions beginning April 29, 2019 will be scored for points to be redeemed under the new rewards program.

Click “Services” tab on the left hand side of the page.

Click the Rewards! icon.

Points will be calculated once per month when your credit card statement is produced

Yes, the insurance holder will change from Minnesota Life to CUNA Mutual. All of these changes will be handled by PFCU. You will receive a separate correspondence addressing this change in coverage.
