I just got my first bill, what are my next steps?

The challenge of taking on new purchases and responsibilities almost always involves taking on new expenses. You've made some changes in life and have just received your first bill. Where to go from here?

Establish a place to manage your money

If you haven't already, easily open a PFCU Savings and Checking account here. Or, you can visit any of our branches to open an account. By establishing an account, it allows you the ability to manage your money with the security of knowing your monies will be safe, earning you interest and is insured by the NCUA.

Take note of the due date

Due dates are important to track as they must be met and dictate a large portion of how you must manage your money throughout your monthly budget. For example, if a larger portion of your bills are due at the beginning of the month, you have to prepare for this larger expenditure to start the month by saving for it with the income you receive in other parts of the month.
