PFCU Credit Union has made a $5,000 donation to the Shiawassee County 4H MSU Extension in support of youth development and educational programming. The donation was presented at the Shiawassee County Fair, an annual event that showcases the talents and achievements of local 4H members.
The contribution reflects PFCU Credit Union’s ongoing commitment to investing in the communities it serves. As a member-owned financial institution, PFCU supports initiatives that promote education, leadership, and personal growth - values that align closely with the mission of 4H.
As shared by Alexis Wheeler, 4H program Director for the Shiawassee County 4H, “Your support helps us continue providing quality programs that empower youth to learn, lead and grow. We deeply appreciate your commitment to the young people in our community.”
About Shiawassee County 4H:Shiawassee County 4H is the youth development program of Michigan State University Extension. It provides fun, hands-on educational opportunities that prepare youth for life and work by helping them find their spark, build real world skills and become resilient, adaptable, lifelong learners.
Many people think 4H is just for kids who live on farms or those interested in raising and selling animals – but that’s not true! Offered in a diverse array of topics, each year more than 100,000 young people, ages 5-19, explore what interests and excites them with Michigan 4H.
