Watch for fraudulent phone/text messages asking for personal identifying information. We have received reports of Spoofing. Spoofing is when a fraudster falsifies the information to your caller ID display to disguise their identity. The message/call looks like it is coming from a trusted source such as your credit union, your Credit Card Company or financial institution. To learn more about Spoofing watch "Spoofing: Don't Hang On, Hang UP" at FCC.gov/spoofing.
Remember: PFCU will NOT call you to inquire about any personal or confidential information relating to any product or service you have at PFCU. This type of call is NOT originating from PFCU and should be considered fraudulent. Don't give any information to callers you can’t identify — even if they ask you to “confirm” this information or threaten you in any way.
