
Budgets are important tools to use in order to maintain financial health and wellness. Now that prices are higher and the cost of things can be felt deep in our pockets, there is an extra need to stretch our dollars. - Go to a museum, aquarium or zoo – Some aquariums, museums and zoos waive or reduce admission fees on certain days or offer free entry to location residents.
- Host a pumpkin carving contest - Enjoy the fall air with friends and host your own pumpkin carving contest in your driveway or backyard.
- Read a book – You have access to thousands of free books by becoming a member of your local library or consider trying an online membership such as Kindle.
- Learn a new skill - start something new and learn through Google, YouTube or consider investing in a certified training course.
- Listen to a new podcast – there are multiple free podcast apps including Spotify, Stitcher and Google Podcasts that will give you access to hours of free listening.
- Volunteer – Spend some of your free time helping others and making your community a better place.
- Have a garage sale – Clean out and get rid of things you don’t need / use while making some extra money!
- Have a karaoke night – Use resources like YouTube karaoke channel and have a blast with your friends!
